At RAM, transparency is not a talking point, it is how we operate. We pride ourselves on being an open book contractor, sharing real-time information, honest feedback, and clear communication throughout every phase of a project. Our clients know where things stand, why decisions are made, and what the path forward looks like. That level of transparency builds trusting relationships and creates better outcomes for everyone involved.
Driving the Process
When clients bring RAM into a project, we do not sit in the passenger seat. We drive the bus. We keep momentum strong, hold deadlines for ourselves and the entire project team, and push forward with purpose. Our knowledge and experience allow us to anticipate challenges, make informed decisions, and keep projects moving toward the best possible result without sacrificing quality or care.
We believe the best projects start with early collaboration. By engaging during the design phase, we bring construction knowledge and practical feedback that supports smoother execution, smarter budgeting, and realistic scheduling. This proactive approach allows us to remain flexible and adaptable while helping clients avoid costly surprises down the road.
Relationships That Matter
After more than 30 years in business, RAM has earned strong, trusting relationships with local and state agencies, design professionals, and project owners. We are frequently called for emergency work because people know they can count on our experience, our integrity, and our commitment to doing the right thing. Our philosophy is simple: we want a partner, not a contract. We approach every project with a team mindset because we believe we win together or we lose together, no matter the delivery method.
RAM is more than a skilled construction company focused on excellence and client satisfaction. They are also creative problem solvers. They know that the ‘why’ of the project – the purpose – is as important as the ‘what’ in order to get it right. They identify potential issues, offer options and steward resources wisely while staying true to project goals. RAM’s experience, integrity, emphasis on relationships and commitment to having fun while doing good work make working with the team a pleasure. It’s always an honor to recommend RAM Construction.

Just wanted to let you know what a great crew you have out there. I recently stopped by the construction site on Mt. Baker Hwy (near Britton Rd) so my 3 year old son could watch the big machines from a distance. Not only did the excavator driver stop to pay notice to my son, he got out of the excavator, ran to his truck and then brought him a construction hat. In addition, the man driving the dump truck also came over and explained how to signal a horn honking. This made my sons day/week/month! Thank you for the kindness! Those small acts will now have me recommending you whenever I have the opportunity to do so

In 2022, Mercy acquired the 145-unit Evergreen Ridge project in Bellingham which had been under capitalized by the former owner and required a complete exterior envelope renovation. RAM construction provided a highly skilled, well-coordinated general contractor and subcontractor team that worked closely with the Mercy team in preconstruction and construction phases to understand our project goals and delivered a high-quality renovation on both schedule and within budget. We would look forward to working with RAM construction on another Bellingham project in the future.

On behalf of SWFA [South Whatcom Fire Association] who hopes to instill some of the same qualities in our organization that you achieve with yours, let me state that the RAM organization continues to positively lead and contribute to our greater community. RAM does not set a standard, they continuously exceed the standard with respect to creating a better community for us all. RAM allows us to know that community service is and should be integral to our organizational missions.

Quick note to tell you how much I appreciate how RAM leaves job sites – example Aldrich Road. I ride my bike out there all the time- I never worry about hitting gravel or an unmarked “bump”. I can tell you have created a culture where your crews have pride in their work – and it shows!
