Project Description
RAM delivered two state-of-the-art airplane hangars for Alpha Technologies at AlphaAirpark, featuring 74,000 SF of hangar space and 4,460 SF of office space. RAM led the design coordination for the complex ceiling systems, integrating structural steel, fire suppression, sprinklers, draft curtains, industrial fans, lighting, and heating—ensuring a 44-foot height and 364-foot clearance to accommodate two Boeing 737s.

While constructing two airplane hangars for Alpha Technologies, RAM’s Civil Division simultaneously rebuilt the taxi lane between them. RAM expertly coordinated work between stakeholders and adjusted the schedule to meet the Port of Bellingham’s accelerated timeline. By modifying the plan, RAM expedited steel erection by over a month, including setting 260+ foot roof beams, ensuring seamless project execution.
