Project Description
In summer 2024, RAM responded to an emergency repair on the Electric Avenue Bridge, a critical route to Lake Whatcom’s only public boat launch and beach. Originally built in 1959 with timber pilings and beams, the bridge had suffered severe decay to a pile cap beam, forcing its immediate closure. RAM quickly executed temporary structural repairs, restoring both travel lanes and ensuring safe public access during the busy summer season.

Working under unique and challenging conditions, our team outpaced the anticipated schedule to restore traffic ahead of plan—reopening this vital roadway sooner than expected for the community.
