Project Description
RAM successfully capped a 17-acre portion of Bellingham’s former GP mill site, transforming a challenging industrial waterfront into a stable, environmentally secure area ready for redevelopment. The work included 13,000 tons of excavation, decommissioning massive underground utilities, and placing over 75,000 tons of engineered materials, including crushed concrete, gravel borrow, and permeable ballast. Strict environmental controls, strategic material reuse, and precise coordination on a constrained waterfront site ensured compliance with public and environmental standards.
