Project Description
WSDOT contracted RAM to realign SR 542 near Glacier, WA, after heavy rainfall eroded the embankment, prompting a state of emergency declaration. During peak season, this highway serves up to 3,000 vehicles daily. Scope included realigning the road 100’ from the river, clearing debris, blasting rock, and paving a new two-lane section all while keeping the highway open to traffic.
