RAM Construction completed the Taxilane Kilo Expansion for the Port of Bellingham, enhancing airfield connectivity and operational efficiency to support the region’s growing aviation needs. The project included constructing a brand-new taxilane with state-of-the-art lighting, improved stormwater management, and enhanced security fencing—ensuring a safer, more efficient, and future-ready airfield infrastructure.

As part of the Taxilane Kilo Expansion for the Port of Bellingham, RAM Construction rehabilitated aging taxiways through precision planning and paving. Existing survey data was inaccurate, revealing severely deteriorated surfaces. Using our in-house survey team and Trimble-controlled grinding, we performed variable depth grinding to correct grade issues, ensuring a smooth, safe, and properly aligned airfield surface for the Port of Bellingham.
