The Telegraph Road Multimodal Improvements Project transforms a rural corridor between Deemer Road and James Street into a complete urban street designed for all users—pedestrians, cyclists, transit riders, and drivers. The project includes new sidewalks, bike lanes, curbs, gutters, streetlights, pedestrian-activated crosswalks, traffic signals, and channelization. These upgrades enhance safety, accessibility, and connectivity. Telegraph Road serves as a model for future corridor improvements that support balanced mobility and long-term community benefit.

Facing a challenging 950-foot Redi-Rock retaining wall design with unsightly stepped concrete caps, RAM developed a creative, first-of-its-kind solution for the area—redesigning it as a sloped wall that perfectly matches the road’s finish grade. This innovative approach eliminated the bulky steps, improved aesthetics for the future city park, and delivered a cleaner, more seamless result.
